Counselling offers people a safe, confidential space to speak and process, to feel supported and heard. New approaches about how we think and feel ultimately allow us to master new and adaptive skills.
These skills open up new ways of being, perhaps helping us to become the people we want to be, more resourced, more capable of change. Supporting clients to access their own wisdom and solutions is one of the aspects of counselling that I really enjoy.
